Wisconsin Riverside Resort Policies and Procedures for Seasonal Campers
1. SITE RULES: Only one camping unit is allowed per site. No more than two automobiles/trucks per site. Site rental includes 2 adults and 3 children 18 years of age or younger. A small tent for use by your own children may be set up on your site while you are present, it must be taken down when you are not here. Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Children must be at their site or with parents after 11:00 pm. Setting by your campfire as late as you like is permitted, provided the noise level is acceptable. Foul language is not permitted in public or where it can be heard by other campers. No music outside permitted after 11:00 pm. Children under 14 must not be left alone in the campground at any time.
2. GUESTS: All guests must register at the office before entering the campground. Each site will be allowed 4 immediate family day guests at no charge (holidays are an exception to this rule). All guests must register with the office and will be issued a car pass & wrist bands. Additional non-family day guests will be charged $3.00 per person if over age 6 (holidays are an exception to this rule). Overnight Guests will be charged $5.00 per person per night. Guests using your camper when you are not there must notify the office prior to their arrival. Please contact the office for short term day guests.
3. SITE MAINTENANCE: You are responsible for keeping your grass cut and your site neat. We ask that you mow at least every two weeks. If you are unable to maintain your site in a satisfactory manner we will mow and/or clean up your site and bill you for it at our current rate. Dead trees and limbs will be trimmed and pruned to eliminate hazards. Please notify management if you have a concern. Absolutely no cutting of trees limbs or brushes on your own.
4. TRAILERS: All trailer must remain mobile.
5. ELECTRIC: We are not responsible for unforeseeable electric outages, or for trailer that have been unplugged by others. Plugging into other sites will not be tolerated and is ground for immediate eviction.
6. PICNIC TABLE: Each newly registered seasonal guest is supplied with one picnic table. Any additional picnic tables will be at the renter’s expense. Please make arrangements if you need additional picnic tables for an event. Please do not swap with other sites.
7. POOL PRIVILEGES: As per state law, no child under the age of 14 year is permitted in the pool or pool area without responsible adult supervision. No adult may supervise more than 5 children simultaneously at the pool or in pool area. You are responsible for following all pool rules posted at the pool. POOL IS FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY.
8. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. All radios, stereos and any other outside audio equipment must be turned off during this time.
9. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: No glass beverage bottles outside of your seasonal site. We will not permit under-age drinking.
10. CAMP FIRES: Each site is supplied with one fire ring. No more than one fire ring to a site. Camp fires must be attended at all times. Flames may not be exceedingly high.
11. FIREWOOD: Outside firewood further than 25 miles is not permitted in the campground by state law in order to prevent the infestation of gypsy moth larva and emerald beetles. Firewood can be purchased at the store. Gathering of firewood from other sites is not permitted, nor the cutting, snapping or breaking of trees. 32 cubic feet is the maximum wood storage on site 2’x2’x8’.
12. GARBAGE/RECYCLING: Wisconsin Riverside Resort asks that everyone separate their recyclable from their garbage. This includes all glass, cans and plastic and soda bottles, and should be deposited in the appropriate bins at the garbage/recycling area. Please do not throw bags into the recycling bins. Removal charges will be imposed on anyone disposing of refrigerators, air conditioners, computers, monitors, etc.
13. GOLF CARTS, ATV’S & OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLES: Golf carts are only permitted in the campground at our discretion, with restricted use. Golf carts must be insured. ABSOLUTELY NO ATV’s or off road motorcycles will be permitted in the campground. Motorcycles that are licensed, insured and registered are permitted.
14. BOATS: You are allowed one boat per site.
15. STORAGE BUILDING: Only one shed is allowed per site no larger than 8 x 8.Sheds must be prefabricated metal shed or plastic. All sheds and their placement must be approved by Wisconsin Riverside Resort.
16. SITE PAYMENTS: All seasonal rental payments are due on an annual basis. Non-payment of fees will void the permit and all items on the site will be removed at the owner’s expense. Any additional work that we have to perform on your site will be billed at our current rate (these charges can include, moving camper, leveling, special sewer hookups, etc.). We reserve the right to place a lien on your camper for non-payment of any campground charges, and prevent removal of you camper or restrict access to your camper until all charges are paid in full. We also reserve the right to remove your camper from the site for non-payment and put it in our storage yard until all charges are paid in full.
17. INSURANCE: It is highly recommended that you have your trailer insured. Wisconsin Riverside Resort is not responsible for any damage incurred to your trailer.
18. PETS: All pets that are brought into the campground must be fully vaccinated. Pets are not allowed in any of our buildings, restrooms and pavilions. You must clean up after your pet both on and off your site, and dispose of this waste at your campsite. Excessive barking will not be tolerated, and your pet must be in a pen or on a leash anytime it is outside your camper. If your pet becomes a problem we may ask you to remove it from the campground. Two pet maximum per site.
19. PAVILION: Use of the pavilion for functions is by reservation only. You will be responsible for cleaning the pavilion before and after your function. The pavilion must remain accessible by other campers.
20. LEAVES: Please rake your leaves and place in garbage bags at the front of your site and notify the office. Our employees will go from site to site to collect these leaves at no expense to you. Do not blow/rake leaves on someone else’s site. Please do not burn your leaves. Leaves must be raked and lawns mowed (if necessary) 2 weeks prior to Memorial Day Weekend. If they are not, we will do it and charge you accordingly.
21. METERS: Meters will be read by Wisconsin Riverside personnel and billed 3 to 4 times per year.
22. CLOSING WEEKEND: Will depend largely on weather conditions. Generally last week in October to early November. You must close up your camper on or before that date. Electric meters will be read shortly after the closing day and invoices will be mailed.
23. WINTER SEASON: Our campground will be closed from November 1 – April 1 and water will be turned off during these months. Be aware if you wish to check on your trailer during this time generally the roads will not be cleared of snow.
